vs righties

Sizemore
Hudson
Lee
Lowell
Byrnes
Ramirez
Hart
catcher
Reyes

vs lefties

Reyes
Hudson
Lee
Lowell
Ramirez
Hart
Byrnes
catcher
Sizemore

Just my opinion, but it also includes that you have a real weakness against hard righties. I would look for a 4R to a 6R lefthanded power hitter with a .500 or greater slugging percentage. 2 out of 3 starters are usually righties.

Good luck and have fun :)

grady, hanley, derek, mike, corey, eric, orlando, yorvit, & jose. Id consider flopping jose and hanley vs righties. Hope that helps, I am new to strat myself, but that is my gut feeling. Keith

Yes, if available and you can afford him. It will balance your lineup. I don't know his clutch, but bat him somewhere 4 through 6 against righties and lower in the lineup against lefties.

And as far as pitching goes, my 3 divisional opponents have Rich Hill, Andy Pettitte, CC Sabathia, Johan Santana, Scott Kazmir and Barry Zito in their rotations...

Hawpe would be a perfect fit for your team. Bat him fifth against righties. Then Lowell and Byrnes have to pitched to avoid Hawpe in clutch situations and both of those hitters will make a problem for the opposition. Bat Hawpe 7th against lefties unless you think your catcher is better against lefties.
