Should Pudge be batting .185 after 18 games (9) at Fenway.

Hi. Not sure what you mean, b/c of course he's not a 185 hitter...but obviously the rolls have worked out that way. Could be on his ABs that he keeps getting the pitcher's card.

Kind of like getting heads on a coin flip 30 out of 40 tries...should you have 3/4 heads? No...and if you flipped that coin another 500 times odds are you'd be closer to 50% split than 75/25 as you were after 40.

So what's this mean with Pudge? Stick with him! In Fenway he's looking at about 40 hit chances each side of his card which is butt-kickin'. Give him another 500 at bats and he'll move closer to statistical expectation in the larger sample...just like the coin flips.

Worst thing you could do is drop him in frustration--just be patient.
Good Luck

At least he's played for you. He has been on IR for 31 of my first 42 games. Is he worth keeping at Turner Field?
