--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone starts out with their first 5 teams as it has been established...
As you add a premium teams you pick up an equal number of your backlogged free teams -
Ergo - your first paid teams moves team 6, your second paid moves team 7, etc...
Of course those who are playing under assumed names will not be able to combine those with there preferred user name.

Yeah but some users may have had the opportunity to play in only 5 free leagues.

I really think you have a great idea. It is win win for everyone! It will help them sell more teams and everyone will get managerial credit for all of there 1986 teams they worked so hard on!

I support it 100 percent!!! I hope they make it affective immediately. I just bought one premium team, and I will buy five more before the week is out! Besides several of my 1986 teams I am NOT getting credit for are doing REALLY WELL ,and I would like to get some credit! Thank you,
Uncle Milte

I think that idea sounds fair and economically sound for TSN

Is their a chance Bernie and," Sporting News" will do this? For instance: for every premium team we have purchased after the Free 1986 season was over we get credit for one more Free 1986 team on our managerial ratings. I think that would be cool for most people, and fair to the," Sporting News". But I have no idea if the powers that be would go for that. Does anyone who care about this matter have Bernie's ear??

If they add more teams it really should be for all owners, or otherwise it would screw the manager ratings. I assume right now the ratings reflect an overall .500 winning percentage (for all games). If my 6th team wins 100 games, and my 7th team wins 60 games -- guess how many additional teams I have an incentive to add. I'd have no objection to going to 10 or 20 teams for everyone, but allowing owners to add in such a way to improve their record seems unfair.

You have a good point. However there is no plan that is going to please everyone. And besides the managerial ratings are already bias to those who spend more money. And I do not have a major problem with that since TSN and SOM are businesses out to make a profit.(That is what businesses should do.) I just want to receive credit for all my 1986 seasons eventually because I have spent MANY hours on them, and I am starting to do well. So you can call me selfish or vain, but that is my agenda, and if I have to purchase more teams to get it accomplished than alright! I would keep buying teams anyway, because I love this game. I just want a little credit for all my teams. I realize not everyone will like this proposal, but you can't please everyone all the time. There are rarely perfect plans. I would be happy with any plan that gives us credit for more 1986 seasons!
