Is it just me or is he the biggest piece of overpriced crap in the 86 set

He might be over-priced, but I just checked every 86 team that I've got him on.

His lowest SLG was .575
His best was .680

In the 86 game, there are 3 RF's that kill RH's, run well and play good D. Straw, Van Slyke and Baines. There are others, but they lose out because of their D or a + arm.

I've used them and the others and I can tell you, the only one that always hits well is Straw.

I have him in Fulton County Stadium and he is hitting .261, .355 OBP, and .483 SLG. I thought I would get more out of him there. I think Barfield is overrated. SGT D

Barfield is doing well for me. It is just one league, but he has 24 homers in 90 games at Royals stadium. I am not sure of his exact SLG. and OBP but I think combined they are close to .900.
