27-0 no-hitter

27-0 no-hitter

This happened in our league last night, and has got to be the most one-side ass-whoopin' I've ever seen in Strat or real-life baseball. This is a standard $80m league, not some crazy theme.

The visiting team (Ca ERA's) scored 27 runs on 28 hits. The visiting team also pitched a no-hitter against the home team (Altec Warriors).

The ERA's Bonderman was pitching a Perfect Game, when HAL yanked him after 7 innings and 70 pitches (I have no idea what the settings were for Bonderman and his team, since it's Fillies' team, not mine). Quantrill came in in relief, and gave up no hits and two baserunners (an error by Orlando Cabrera and a HBP).

How the visiting team was allowed to leave town without getting their team bus torched is beyond me.

Could have had max 7IP checked, or HAL could have just screwed that one up.

Myself I rarely check those boxes even if the SP is terrible, because the last thing I want in a 27-0 game is to use up my bullpen, I'm not Pete Rose!
