Any advice about this team would be gratefully received. Should I take Gagne off being set up and closer as he has won more games than any starter but is not getting save opportunities? He is obviouly coming into games a bit early and then being taken uout for another reliever to close. Brower has as many saves as Gagne.

Is Gagne set to NOT come in before the 8th inning?

Your NOT really taking advantage of your home park with this team.

HR's for lefties are 1-11, and 1-8 for righties.

So, your lefty power guys are...Casey and Blalock. Not what I would consider powerful...

It's still early in the season, so DO NOT go slashing guys, and drop them.

Turner calls for guys like Dunn, Thome, Drew etc...

I see what you mean about my power guys. i should have drafted more LH power. BTW Gagne wasn't checked at all so was probably coming in far too early. Now his card is checked to not come in before 8th, but still in Set Up and Closer role. Should he continue like this? He is an R2 so should be OK with both roles. Am I right?

Shankly, just a couple thoughts.

Check your settings for Willis - should be 6 inn max, quick hook.

Just my thoughts - trade Guillen for H Matsui (or similar)
Trade Zambrano for Glavine or better yet Santana
Varitek for Burke

Easier said than done but try if you want. A little tinkering and that will be a really good team.
