If anyone out there is not tired of putting in their 2 cents on others teams feel free to let me know your thoughts on this one. It is my first 80 mil. 07 effort. Any input is appreciated!

Loob

my division mates parks are Fenway and Comerica X2

Gonna see a few lefty bats?

Just wondering because I only use 1 lefty, sometimes all RH's. I'll use 2 when there are a good # of lefty bats.

Not too crazy about the tail end of your rotation OR your main RP's. While I like Burton and Marte, I'd like to see one of them as a R2.

Never seen Iguchi used much.

Greene will give you some pop, but expect a sub .250 BA, especially with your division parks.

Prefer to use Granderson in LF. I know he's only a +1, but I just like a 0 to a - arm in CF.

My 2 pennies...

Thanks Visick !
Always good to hear from a vet.
Made a few changes before I had to set the team yesterday afternoon. I had to build my pitching staff thru waivers and FA as I only recieved 2 that I had wanted in the draft so I did the best I could piecing it together. I know Greene isnt going to hit alot for ave. but am hoping he gives me some pop at home.

IMHO...

Your D could be a problem. You have a 4(25) at 3B a 3(17) at 2B, 3's in the COF and a CF with a plus arm. While your 1B is a decent 2 the 10 E's is kinda high and will only be compounded by the other holes in your D. SS and C are the only B+ spots on your D.

Also, I see 4 everyday players who could be gone for 15 games. one...no biggie, 2 probably can get by....3 or more equals a lot of lost runs.

I think you are over spending on your pen. I would pare down to a 10 man staff....try to funnel 300+ innings btwn Jenks(?) and Percival. Cut Wickman for a .5 back up 1B/3B...you need one. Cut Burton for a L/R(1) specialist...say F.Francisco, Mahay, Yates etc. I would also do the same with S.Rivera....cut for a R(1) specialist. Cameron can then be used strickly for mop up as he is a R2 with mostly walks instead of base advancing hits with no power off his card. I would consider downgrading from Jenks to a closer such as Cordero, Corpas, Valverde, Fuentes and F-Rod if any of these are still around. You should end up with an extra 2-3 million to up grade your shallow rotation. Garland, Guzman and Bautista are meat. Or spend that coin to upgrade your subpar 2B situation.

Thanks splinter,
I made some changes to my staff but not sure if I am going to be able to do anything about my defense. This is by no means a good team and I will probably end up making changes to it when my patience wears out and patience is by no means one of my strong points
