Negro League All Star Set coming out this Christmas!

Just received the SOM Spring/Summer Newsletter which announced that they will be producing a 108 card set of Negro League players.

Strat vets know that SOM has promised a set for many years, but have not done one because there are so few stats available for the Negro Leagues.

The article states that they have brought in Scott Simkus, ". . . a Negro Leagues historian and Strat-O-Matic player since 1981" to be the main consultant.

I'm really excited about this. Although no player names were given, I would expect to see the liked of Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, and many other Negro Leagues stars to again grace the baseball fields of the past come Christmas.
