Is There a HAL Handbook?

Noticed discussion on another thread about HAL logic. Is there a HAL guide detailing this logic?

There is no guide...
Think of HAL as the manager of you favorite team...only he lets you make up the lineup....sometimes you will agree with what he does and sometimes you will wonder if he is insane...

Thats as an accurate decription of HAL as any I've heard.
I will say that the more advanced settings that you tell HAL to use, the more reliable he can be. So long as you understand the advanced settings of course :wink: and don't use contradictory settings (ie quick hook & slow hook on the same pitcher or steal & don't steal). However HAL still tends to only take these as guidelines rather than absolutes.
