How is the performance stat figured out? I have made the playoffs in 8 of 11 seasons, and won 4 championships. These are all competitive leagues. My friend has 4 playoff appearances and 1 title. My rating is 73 and his 67. How are they even close? Please someone explain to me this rating. One last stat, I average 90 wins and my friend averages 80.

A manager's rating in a specific Strat-O-Matic game is computed as follows:
(Wins x (Win Pct. - .400)) + (Reached Playoffs x 10) + (Championships x 20*)
Each of a manager's individual game ratings is multiplied by a "weight" percentage (generally based on how current the game is), and then added together to form his Overall Strat-O-Matic Career Rating.
* - starting with Strat-O-Matic Baseball 2005, Advanced Level league championships are worth 50.
