Thoughts on a Team

OK whiz kids, any thoughts on this early season debacle? It's a keeper league, hence the somewhat strange makeup of the team. Obviously since the season has started, my options are somewhat limited, but the drop is at 95% currently.

I'm in AT&T with a Turner, Coors, and Angels in my division. Majority righthanded hitters and pitchers.

You're missing that big bat in the middle of the lineup. Someone, a lefty bat would be nice, to drive in Willits/Sizemore and Granderson.

That person would also protect Ramirez.

Your lineup looks like it is better against LHP. Also I hope you do not leadoff with Granderson against lefties. In fact he should bat last against lefties if he even plays at all (against lefties). Your starting pitching looks very good to me! Your bullpen is not that strong, but I think that is the least important of all the major areas. The most important advice I can give you is; do not panic! You have only played 9 games!! Good luck!

Thanks. I know it's only nine games, but I enjoy panicking! Actually it's the lefty slant that worried me most, but I just couldn't pass up Braun.

Definitely missing another big bat. Granderson has tbs to fill that role, but he's not enough alone. I could certainly look into a trade, but otherwise the big bats are mostly gone. Wondering if I should downgrade pitching to find another bat?

I actually wasn't playing Granderson versus lefties, batting him third versus the right. Leading off with Willits.

84% of your at bats to date are against RHP. I doubt that's going to change dramatically since it means your division pitching is predominantly right handed (so even if your out of division games change the mix, you'll finish the season with the same problem). I'd look to trade Braun or Ramirez for that left handed bat you need.
