Best CF for Great American

Best CF for Great American

Any thoughts on who the ideal CF for the Great American Ballpark is? I'm guessing Beltran, Hunter, and Sizemore are the top 3. Maybe Upton and Hamilton, though there are concerns about health and defense.

Most of the hits are going to CF so I try to stick with a 1 whenever possible.

In a hitting environment, a 2 works out well.

I'll use a 3 only when the 1's and 2's are gone.

That being said, it all really depends upon your lineup/home park and other divisional parks. Also do you need a switch hitter in your lineup?
Need a lefty? A righty?

A link to your squad with info on the divisional parks AND SP would help with a decision.

The ideal CF in a hitting environment IMO is usually Chris Young.

Solid bargain, will hit 30-50 HRs with a very low batting average, ideal #9 hitter in a bomber lineup, allows you to spend in other places.

IMO the top CFs are overrated, including Ichiro.

I have to admit, I've never thought too much about this. Do you mean most of the X's will be in CF, which makes the 1 advantageous? Or does the 1 come into play in some other rules that I'm probably overlooking?

Thanks!

i think viz is trying to say that CF gets the hits that are not designated i.e. a single(lf) goes to the LFer obviously, but a single only goes to the CF, so this means you want a minus to 0 arm to keep the 3rd base coaches arm down.

the 1 relates to the x charts yes. there are 3 x chances for the cf i believe.

that being said, i tend to agree with pbtr about the CF's being overpriced..... but in a pitchers park i like ichiro or rowand all the same......

ok...well, I did know about the non-designated hits going to center, in regard to having a decent arm out there.

Thought maybe the 1 came into play for more than just the x rolls.

Thanks

Here's how my team is shaping up now after the waiver period has passed and some other moves have been made, visick.
