To me the interesting thing will be what part-time players will have expensive cards. These are players that didn't play a full season for whatever reason. Players like Gload, Wise, Mauer, etc from last year. Some of the below players could fit that category if they get a SOM card:
Brandon McCarthy (White Sox) - 1.18 WHIP
Chris Shelton (Det) - 388 AB, .299 BA, 18 HR
Kelvim Escobar (LAA) - 59.2 Inn, 1.10 WHIP, 63 K's in 7 starts
Scott Baker (Min) - 53.2 Inn, 1.16 WHIP, 32 K's in 9 starts
Jason Giambi (NYY) - 32 HRs in 417 ABs
Felix Hernandez (Sea) - 84.1 Inn, 1.00 WHIP, 77 K's in 12 starts
Jonny Gomes (TB) - 348 AB, .372 OBP, 21 HRs
Others that might have expensive cards
Mark Ellis (Oak) - .316 BA, .384 OBP with moderate power (could be one of the highest salaried 2B)
Houston Street (Oak) - 78.1 Inn, 72 K's, 1.01 WHIP
Bengie Molina (LAA) - will be one of the highest priced catchers

Part Time Expensive players
Cotts and Politte (WHIPs close to 1.00) will be priced in the $5 range.
Fielding-who will the "1"s be?
If the WS are allowed to win any games with the crummy OBP of their hitters it would be only fitting to make Crede, Rowand and Uribe "1" fielders. If anyone was paying attention during the playoffs-they had extremely timely hitting (SOM couldn't simulate it) AND CLUTCH FIELDING.
Same for the stros- Everett should be a "1" again.

David Wright
Tony Clark
Orlando Hudson will prolly be a 1 defensively again.

How 'bout guys like Cameron, who played well but lost a nice chunk of the season?

Another good player with bad injury rating would be Clint Barmes.

check the other thread. The fielding ratings are out-and Bonds is not rated.
BTW- Rowand's a "1" but Crede and Uribe are "2" s. This is the result of NYers being in love with Aaron-based upon his awesome August (?) trip to Yankee stadium.

Bonds is rated for the board game, he's a 5 in LF. He's in the additional players set. That PROBABLY means he won't recceive a card in TSN's game, but only time will tell.
