What's everyone's opinion on Justin Verlander? He seems to get bypassed in a lot of $80M leagues. Is he not worth it? I mean, he's a $6M pitcher. What's the deal? Please share your experiences.

I'm in Fenway in an $80M league. I think I'll probably pass, given those less than spectacular results. Who are some good alternatives? Right now I have Santana and Cain every 4 days, then splitting the rest between Dustin McGowan, Ubaldo Jimenez, and Micah Bowie. I was thinking of going for a quality 3rd 4 day starter and then splitting the other 40 starts between Jimenez and Bowie or some other cheap guy.
Here's the team:

I went for Jurrjens. I was also thinking of dropping Neshek for Herges since Herges is an R2 and Neshek is only an R1. Neshek just looks so dominant. No bpSI and he had one of the lowest opponents' BAs in MLB last year. Herges has no bpSI, too.
Also, I was told by an SOM guru to keep something like a 40/60 split between pitching salary and hitting salary. Right now, it's more like 35/65. Opinions?
