It had to be when the 1969 Mets overcame the Cubs huge lead in midseason and won the NL East and then went on to beat the Mighty Orioles in the Series. To go from the worst team in baseball history to the NL champion overnight IMO was the biggest baseball thrill of my life - Being a huge NL fan and a resident of Metro NY - which is what Fairfield county, CT is, was and will always be.
