pitcher setting question

I have Brandon Webb pitching in the finals. He's been awesome for me in citizens bank park. (2.09 era, 1.13 whip) I'm going to face another hitters park team with a couple big L hitters.

My question is this: if I set him to avoid lefties, will he walk them when they come up? I've never tried this with a starter. Since it's the finals I wanted to put the question out there, before I did something stupid!

[i:52e514b5f9]NO. It won't have anything to do with walks. On a starter, checking avoid lefties would probably get Webb taken out more early than normal, especially if he gets into a jam. Webb, being one of the better starters this season I would NOT check that box, period.[/i:52e514b5f9]
