Could you guys please post here your experiences with Upton? I am considering using him for the first time, in Coors Field.

Specifically interested in injury performance, bang for buck and how your team did using him in CF.

Thanks.

The only time i've used him was in S Elarton league (all SP under 1 mil all hitters parks).

Upton, B.J. R CF 3(-1)e4 505 87 151 24 1 [b:4da19d0bda]30 81[/b:4da19d0bda] 62 152 9 3 5 .299 .381 .529

Started off really really slow, batted him 2nd. haven't used him since, and probably won't.

I have been trying to work him into one of my teams and have not made it. I have played Coors a lot and think he would be perfect there. I always try to get better "D" when playing a weak defender at a key position and it would be nice to create a nice back up situation, but hitting-wise he looks good to me, anyway. The only caveat is that when I don't win in Coors it uisually is not because I didn't score enough.

Currently have him on a couple in progress...also two completed seasons with him posted below. Seems to be consistent .260-.270, 20-25HRs, 70-90 RBIs.

I used him in Coors and my team finished second 82-80. Batted him 1st against righties, 6th against lefties:

572 88 160 26 3 [b:44d8b0b984]25 63 [/b:44d8b0b984]72 193 18 8 3 [b:44d8b0b984].280 .364 .467 [/b:44d8b0b984]

In case there is one stat that everyone doesn't immediately notice, he is a strikeout machine. Look at Delbird's team. 193 Ks!! That's totally unacceptable.

I envisioned his stats more like those he had for Page2.

K's are much preferred to gb(a) to me.
