I'm thinking about using him for my Petco team, but I'm scared of his injury chance. I'd be interested to hear how others have fared with the big hurt. Was he hurt or did he hurt?

frank not a good fit for petco. too much of his ob is bb, and you might want a better range number at first in that park.
snow is a nice fit i believe

Somebody correct if I am wrong. Would't you have a better shot at a consistent OBP with high walks in a Petco, or Safeco type park? Both of those parks are 1-1 singles for RHBs.
I mean, you can't mess with those walks with the 5 singles chances.

I had a Petco team with Frank Thomas, he put up decent numbers
for being a Petco team.
G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS BA OBP SLG 91 257 52 61 13 3 15 36 75 77 0 0 .237 .425 .486
I usually go for OBP in pitcher's parks, walks are good in my opinion.

Frank Thomas has too many BPHR chances for Petco, in my humble opinion.

While I don't think the Big Hurt has too many BPHR's for Petco, I think he would be better off served elsewhere. His defense and speed will hurt you, just a bit.
Snow is a bit better there. If you want a big hitter w/ natural HR's, Glaus is your man.

I used him at DH in Petco and he was part of my team's turnaround. Got me to the playoffs before he was hurt for 15 but I still made the finals.

he's a monster but in Petco you may want more natural hits but depends on how you use him and who's around him
