Can I get away with playing Pierre in CF & Huff @ 3rd? check the team out. It's pre-waivers and I'm trying to figure ot who should I Add/Drop. Thanks for any insights.

Some people say that pierre is not worth the arm risk. I disagree. His numbers usually carry him, especially in a pitchers park. Here are my quick points...
Lyle Overby: will not hit his stats... expect .275 at best with a ton of doubles.
Miguel Cabrera: Get rid of him in Petco... he'll die. But you might already know that.
Carlos Zambrano: Not bad at all... but just check around the league and see if there is a hitters park team that might use his services a little better. You'd like a guy with under a 1.2? whip as your ace.
Oliver Perez: Trade or drop him.
Vlad... LOVE HIM, KEEP HIM!

Drop Cabrera, he is suited for a hitter's park.

I also kinda like Benson in a hitters park.
A cheap, effective Petco pitcher is Javier Vazquez. Good for that 4th or 5th rotation spot.

Just realized I didn't answer your second question about Huff. I love this guy but runs are going to be a premium for you in Petco and you don't want his 4 and tons of errors at third base giving any away. If you were playing him at first in stead I'd feel much better. Look for a Bill Mueller or Sean Burroughs for third instead. Those guys have D and solid production for petco.

I'd shop Cabrerra around before you drop him He's usually highly coveted by Hitter's parks or Wrigley/Fenway teams.

Id drop Oliver Perez since he wouldn't be needed in a four man rotation.

Drop Perez? He's my only good pitcher...even Clemens sucks on my team. Even if you're going with a four man rotation why not have one of the better ones to be the fifth man?
