This sounds great.

One question - If I buy the 5-pack of "ATG/2007/1986", will there be any problem with using some of these credits for the 2008 card set, when that comes online?

Question

Davy (and others),
If you already have credits, here are instructions from Bernie how to buy these new teams:

TBM:
I don't want to guarantee that the 2008 card set will be compatible with these credits. At this stage, though, it would seem likely that we would be able to manage that.

Apparently I am too slow for this offer - I thought I read it as three days thru Friday, but I see a 2PM deadline attached to it that I didn't see before. I was headed to purchase it at 2:15 and it wasn't there. I would assume there is no way this would be extended at this point but it sure would be nice if it could.

Same here Delbird.

Apparently, fridays end @ 2pm EST @ TSN.

I thought I would buy a 5-pack @ noon here in Cali, when fridays end when 11:59pm becomes 12:00am saturday.

same boat, missed the line about 2pm eastern time too. had to use up one more credit last night before I could be set for a new pack of teams...and Im on the WEST coast. was all set to fill it in last night, and when auto fill didn't work on credit card info, decided to wait until the morning. I suppose you could get notes and sob stories like this all day, but THROUGH friday would be nice. :D

Just saw that myself

I must have missed the deadline as I was about to do the same thing.

Would have been a great time to get 2 or even 3 5 packs to lower the price to a more economical number. Any savings in this economy is good.

The offer of $80 is a fair one but the $100 isnt. Not with all the speculation as to the game itself. There is no reason that the price cant be $80 for a 5 pack at all times. For every 1 person who will pay the $100 there are 4 that wont. Lowering this to $80 would probably get 3 of those 5 people.

Having 4 or 5 teams that will make the playoffs means people will wait for credits instead of spending for mor 5 packs at $100. Not a very good business decision. When they offer this "special" again then maybe people will start buying.
