Hello all, I am thinking of another team after the first of the year. (sometime in Jan/Feb) I see alot of Petco and Shea stadiums in these posts but, for someone that is a bit green in this what are your recommendations for my next team.
Also, What is the best thing to look at for drafting I am assuming that it would be OBA before SLG and BA. And on pitching I assume it would be WHIP as #1 priority. Keeping in mind that 4 good * SP is probably going to work. Previously I was trying to build my team to 25 players and probably made some poor decisions when setting it up.
Thanks in advance for the help and
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hey there...Petco is my favourite I think. I will probably use it again.
Yes, for pitchers...WHIP is number one. Look for pitchers with more #HR's on their card and hitters with more natural HR's. Many cheap pitchers can do pretty well at Petco. Have some lefty batters and a couple pitchers strong against lefties and you should do fine. As for OBP I don't know. That is important but I'm wondering if OPS is more important in a pitcher's park such as Petco. Maybe someone else knows for sure.
Merry Christmas to you too. :D

I've had the most success at Petco.
Crazy has it right. Whip for pitchers, #HR's are good. Vazquez is a good example of a good Petco pitcher.
I started with good defense and mostly guys with high BA & OB. Found out that I still needed some pop to be successful. Most people don't like the injury risk but I like Rolen for D, OB & NHR.

Busch, Fenway
The 2 2004 World Series sites.
Have had fun at Shea but, you lose your players, it hard, for me anyway, to replace them with others that work as well.
