Good Morning

It was my first season as GM in Strat-O-Matic and i got the worse record of my league... I can't figure out WHY?
When you have Carmona, Sabathia, Holladay, Smotlz as starter and Cordero as stopper with Rollins, Pedroia, Soriano, Berkman, Figgins and you lost all the time we have problems WATSON....

I got 13 hits other teams got 11 and beat me 10-2..... Next game i got 8 and he got 9 hits score 9-3....

Am I Missing something here?

Hard to have a concrete view of what happened without knowing more. I'm also going on the assumption that you've read the newbie advice thread. If you're getting a lot of hits, but not enough RBIs, could be 1. your order wasn't maximizing card strengths (dps, slg, clutch, ob, etc.); 2. You don't have enough power: The list of players you mentioned all have v. good, but flawed, cards. A lineup of Rollins, Pedroia, Soriano, Berkman, Figgins, + guys you don't mention may not translate into tons of runs.

I've had teams I thought would be run-producing machines fall flat. It happens.
