Is the value of the player dropped in a waiver deal calculated into the deal?

The only way I can pick up my waiver deals is if my dropped player's values are put into the mix. So, I want to pick up a 3 mill. player, I can afford him, only if a dropped player's value is figured into this deal.

OR, must I have the total value up front?

Hi lafayette1,

The value is calculated in ie if you have a player your cutting worth 3 mil. and have 5 mil. in the bank you can pick up a player that costs 8 mil.
