Hey, new here: Is there an advantage to choosing a SP with an asterisk as opposed to one without an asterisk? IE: why is Westbrook a S7* but Hudson only a regular S7? Is it an innings pitched thing?

any help would be great. Thanks.

you must be new!!!!!!

i wondered the same tihng when i started...
the difference is ....an SP* can pitch on 3 days rest....
so alot of teams, like mine, will go with 4 man strating rotation instead of 5

Roughly...

It's about 200+ IP and 30 starts for a SP to get a * rating.
He then can go every 3 games.

Big Log,

These guys are right. Also keep in mind that the * is (most likely) figured in to the player pricing. In other words, the card of a $5 million *SP and the card of a $4m SP are probably about the same, because you can start the *SP so many more times during the regular season.

LOG.. SOME PEOPLE LIKE THE 4 MAN ROTATION AND SOME DONT... I PREFER IT MYSELF.. I JUST FEEL ITS EASIER TO FIND 4 GOOD STARTERS THAN 5......

BUT DO WHAT YOU TINHK IS BEST
