Does anyone know why HAL does this?It cost me the game

I have a platooned team. In the playoffs I was facing a LHP. The cards are checked on certain players to avoid RHP. My opponent brings in a RHP in the 6th inning. HAL leaves these players to bat. My question is why? If I have checked avoid RHP and they bat in key games vs. RHP's, then the game is very weak, imo. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

THANKS

No, this game does not have the same "playability" as playing face to face. I'm hoping that this is a factor TSN/Strato is working on.

From what I've read, HAL makes an adjustment based on the manager's strategy as well as the game situation. The logic I've read is that if your player is replaced in the 6th and the other team brings in a new pitcher in the 7th or 8th, it may have been better to leave the original guy in to begin with. I'm not saying this makes sense but simply what I've read.

You aren't the first to bring this up and you won't be the last. A friend of mine lost in the playoffs due to his relief pitcher being replaced after one batter! (He didn't have "avoid righties or quick hook checked either!)

I believe there is a link somewhere to post your suggestions for improvements on the game. The more people suggest this change, the more chance we have for an improvement.

This happened in the 7th and 9th innings with the game on the line (it was a 1 run game, my team was down by a run.) No excuse as I see it. It is a real weakness in the game and is poor in my opinion.
