How come all the innings go to Bauer and not Rivera or Corey?

That is one of the great mysteries of the universe! Nobody understands HAL's choice of relievers, or if they do, they're keeping the info to themselves!

at 85-50 with Bauer going 6-3 with 10 saves...I wouldn't question Hal...other than to ask why he can't do this for you everytime out.

Thanks for the feedback. There must be some algorithm or truth table HAL progresses through...oh well...it's true that Bauer has been pitching way over his head. I'll take the blessing with no more questions asked.

A possibility?

Since Bauer has 10 saves, do you have him set for set up man or closer in any role? That could give him more innings.

EP -

No settings on Bauer other than "don't bring him in b4 the 6th", ditto with Rivera. For Corey - no boxes are checked. None of these pitchers are designated closers or setup men.

I wasn't looking to push more innings to Bauer, but I was just trying to understand the reasoning HAL pitches more often with Bauer than his other $2 to 3M stablemates.

Like the previous post suggested, this team has been more than fortunate thusfar. So I'm leaving it to one of those HAL mysteries.
