4th rotation slot platoon?

I'm looking at a 2006 team and pondering what to do with my 4th starter slot. Should I stick with Doug Davis or maybe implement a tag team of Moyer and Batista to fill that slot for about the same money as Davis and the never used 5th starter. Has anyone ever been successful using a SP tag team?
