Who are your favourite #1 and #2 hitters in this card set? I like Freel at #1 but not really used anyone particular at #2, but have used Mohr, Matsui and Varitek at times.

leadoff- I Like FORD, FREEL, KENDALL, LAWTON.
#2 It really depends I use lots of different guys, no guys I always try to get to specifically bat #2. I used KOSKIE there once and was somewhat pleased with the results though.

Is it a good idea to put a player with 8 BPHRs at #2? Would they not be better suited to lower down and have someone with similar OB but fewer BPs at #2.

Shank, if you play in a hitters park like US Cell, Coors, etc., you bettter have 6 or 7 guys with max BPHRs like Berkman, so you put guys like him second for the OB%. When I play US Cell, I would like Abreu leading off and Berkman second as the ideal players for those spots.

gload has far too many dp's to bat second, can be a real rally killer. you won't notice it as much in the computer game, but playing face to face it get's real frustrating.

If you do wind up with a guy with a lot of DPs on his card, where is the place to bat him in the lineup? I've got Gload now, and he's hitting great against both righties and lefties. I've got him batting #2 against righties, and #3 against lefties. He is third in the league with 20 DPs however, about 130 games into the season.

Frank Thomas is my favorite #2 hitter in the set. Never disappoints. Even with the injury.
