Beltre vs. Rolen in 4 hole (i know about Beltre's bad clutch hitting)

Konerko vs. Burnitz as DH in 5 hole

Of your choices i'd definitely go Beltre and Burnitz. Beltre gives you automatic HR power in Petco so you don't have to worry about the ballparks.

And if your that worried about Shea then Burnitz is definitely your man but I think he'll suffer big time in Petco.

if the Shea team SPs are mostly lefties, you might do better with Rolen in Petco than Beltre.

I wouldn't use Konerko or Burnitz in this situation. There are a ton of other (cheaper) bats to use as DH only.

Don't get me wrong. I love Beltre... in Wrigley or Fenway, and Rolen can perform well in a hitters park. But neither is well suited to Petco. I agree with Jodynadu though... if these are your only choices, Rolen's probably your best bet.

Konerko and Burnitz should both be used strictly in homer happy parks also.

Petco... think Mora, Casey, Ichiro, Loretta, Irod, Kotsay, Newhan, Overbay, Estrada, Snow, Kendall, Clark, Freel, Figgins, etc. type hitters (high BA, high OBP, lots of doubles, few BP HR's).
