relievers and innings

is it true that if a reliever pitches too many innings he becomes "starred" for the remainder of the year? i know about pitching 3 straight games. but what about too many innings issue???

There is no "innings issue" in SOM...it is all based on innings per appearance, not total innings.

#of innings X 3 = amount of innings reliever must rest in order to not be fatigued.

Theoretically, or at least in the rules, the reliever is not allowed to pitch 3 games in a row....but this is breached in the online version quite reguarly....

Yes, but when the RP eneters the game in that 3rd game in a row, doesn't he enter the game fatigued (i.e. all @ results = single*)?
