I've got a 4*SP rotation in Wrigley of Clemens, Oswalt, Glavine and Benson. The first two are marked slow hook, and I've set the manager setting for relief usage to conservative. I'm now 130 games into the season, and all four of my SPs are listed in the top 10 in the league for innings pitched, total batters faced, hits allowed, runs allowed and earned runs allowed. Three of the four are listed for complete games and walks. Despite this, I'm still in first place in my division (barely). When I noted how my SPs are all featured on these statistics lists, I changed the manager setting for relief usage to normal...should I, and assuming I keep it that way, what sort of changes should I expect to see? By the way, my pen is populated by Gordon, Hoffman, Cerda, Dessens, Groom and Camp...

With Gordon I wouldn't even bother putting relief on conservative. He's taking up a lot of salary...might as well play him. Whenever he appears in games for my team he usually puts in about three innings. I'd put relief on normal or aggressive if you got Gordon.

Gordon is a waste of money. I had him and he was truly Mediocre (ERA 3.70 in Tropicana); there is bigger bang for the buck with relievers in the 1 to 5 Mil Range.

Oh yeah? Usually he's the ONLY one who does well for me. I don't recall his ERA ever being that high for me. If only the rest of the friggin team would be as good as him. Hafner, Glaus and Overbay can't hit a beach ball.
