The Yearly Tradition continues!! For the [b:a77a58bdf7]SEVENTH[/b:a77a58bdf7] (and probably last) consecutive season I will be running a SOM 200x league (the first being 2003, then 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008) that will start its season as close as possible with the MLB Season. This is usually my [b:a77a58bdf7]FIRST[/b:a77a58bdf7] league of the new card season, and I almost always have a losing record in it.

[b:a77a58bdf7][u:a77a58bdf7]IMPORTANT:[/u:a77a58bdf7][/b:a77a58bdf7] The season for this league will start on [b:a77a58bdf7]Monday April 5th[/b:a77a58bdf7], to coincide as close as possible to the beginning of the MLB Season.

Do [b:a77a58bdf7][u:a77a58bdf7]NOT[/u:a77a58bdf7][/b:a77a58bdf7] expect this league to start before then. It will [b:a77a58bdf7][u:a77a58bdf7]NOT[/u:a77a58bdf7][/b:a77a58bdf7] start on March 15th, 22nd or March 29th.

This [b:a77a58bdf7]WILL[/b:a77a58bdf7] mean the league will [b:a77a58bdf7][u:a77a58bdf7]NOT[/u:a77a58bdf7][/b:a77a58bdf7] close [b:a77a58bdf7]EARLIER[/b:a77a58bdf7] than Saturday March 27th and [b:a77a58bdf7][u:a77a58bdf7]NO LATER[/u:a77a58bdf7][/b:a77a58bdf7] than Friday April 2n.

[b:a77a58bdf7]FINALLY:[/b:a77a58bdf7] Spots will be reserved for previous participants for 1 week after this post. If you are not a previous participant, please feel free to sign up as an alternate (first-come first-served).

1 - 100m Salary Cap

2 - No DH (last year we used DH so time for a change)

3 - Unique Ballparks with a twist - Maximum of 6 AL and 6 NL Parks. After 6 AL Parks have been chosen the remaining owners will have to choose from the NL & vice versa.

4 - Ballparks & Divisions will be determined by SEPERATE Random Number Order Generators. The First will determine Ballpark Draft Order while the Second will determine Divisions.

5 - The order in which you sign up will determine your number. Therefore I am #1, next is #2 up til #12.

6 - Numbers will be randomly ordered by a non-participating volunteer.

7 - Advanced Skill Level (50 Manager Rating Points)

8 - Variable Free Agent Drop Penalty - games 1-41: 5%, games 42-80: 10%, games 81+: 20%
Due to the relative newness of 2010 I have decided to go with a more lenient Free Agent Drop Penalty
