In the two 2008 leagues I'm in he's got at 3.79 era in one and a 5.25 era in the other. (In neither league is he on my team). In boths leagues about 90 innings pitched.

His stats in my league with 2 games in Petco. ERA at home is 3.00 and on the road is 1.24.

must be a high dollar lefty thing I have Santana and he has been blown out every outing with a era over 9

i've found that lhps against rhb dominant lineups get killed in strat.

Hamels by definition is going to have wider variances because he is an uneven weighted pitcher so when he faces more lefties on a season his numbers are going to get worse. Additionally, Hamels is very park dependant so if he is playing in hitters parks on the road (I would hope Hamels was never put in a home park that gives up the long ball) his numbers are also going to fluctuate significantly.
If Hamels is facing more than about 30% lefties, then he probably wasn't a good fit for the division either.

Now all we need is for him to pitch that bad in real life. We can always hope.
