i see the injury chances on a batters card which is where i assume all injuries happen, but has anyone ever seen an injury while playing defense in a strat game.

The only time an injury occurs when your team is in the field is to the pitcher when he is facing the opposing team's DH on a roll of 6-12.

what's interesting about this rule is that the pitchers have more opportunity to get injured in a DH league than a non-DH league.

This is because w/o a DH, the pitcher can only get injured off of his own card when he bats. You would think that, since pitchers get PH for often, they won't hit as often as face a DH.

I changed this rule when playing the board game version. Pitchers get injured either on a 6-12 when facing the DH or, in non-DH play, they get injured on a 6-12 when facing the opposing pitcher's position in the batting order.

Seems much more fair to me.

yes, I would agree. That's a good rule. I may suggest that change for my FTF league.

Thanks!
