Any idea if this would be a good strategy to keep HR's down in HR friendly parks like Coors. I know this could load the bases and I wouldn't think of using highest setting... anyway, what do you think?

Using the intentional walk would probably keep homeruns down in a place like Coors. Keep in mind, though, that a three run dinger after two walks counts the same as three solo homers.

It seems like HAL only uses intentional walks to set up the double play;
it doesn't worry about who's up and who follows. If STRAT really wanted to improve the game, it would add something similar to the tire/clutch factor so that if Joe McEwing followed Barry Bonds, Bonds card would be adversely affected, and be intentionally walked more as well. Are you listening Hal Richman?

IMO always conservative in a homer park, varies considering the opposing lineup and my middle IF ratings in other parks.
