Would appreciate thoughts on Branyan

How is he doing for people?

I have him for DH vs RHP in a hitters park (Wrigley), but the rest of the teams in my division are in pitchers parks (Busch, Metrodome etc.) . Plus the big injury. Still the home run potential looks amazing....

Any thoughts? Should I keep him or get another DH??

Thanks to all for venturing an opinion.....

Don't have him on my team, but in my league he's doing exactly what he's supposed to vs. righties. Only .311 OBP, but has 17 HRs in 273 ABs with an ISO of .279

Can't hit LHP worth a damn, lousy OBP and batting average, but absolutely crushes RHP. His natural homeruns mean he will be effective even in a neutral to average pitcher's park as well.

You're right to DH him only against RHP. He should put up some solid power numbers for you, even in that division.

In Branyan's case the 9R is extremely deceiving. He only had 14 ABs against lefties. So the numbers you see ARE with him only facing RHP ALREADY. I would not waste my money!

I guess you are right Old Tori Hunter. I did not know he had that many total bases against RHP. Or that many natural homers.

And furthermore he did hit a homer every 10 ABs or so(against RHP), that is not too shabby.

I will do that for you socalchiro. He is not my type of player. Although in the right stadium, and right system I am sure he has his advantages.

ps. The name of your team is a great Rolling Stones album. And your boy Russel "The Muscle" is kicking some butt for you. Keep on keeping on!
