Yes, and I hope Harry is somewhere up above taking a "long drive" basking in the glory of finally getting to call a WS win (local broadcasters were banned from calling the WS in 1980). Watching/listening to Phillies baseball will never be the same.

I remember being a young teen and seeing Fidyrich doing his thing on the mound having conversations with the ball telling it how and when to break, him patting the pitcher's mound and stalking around it. It was to bad that he developed arm trouble. It would be great to have more personalities like him. He will be missed. :(

Grew up in Philly listening to Harry. Also went to the '76 All Star Game at the Vet which the Bird started. Felt like I lost part of my childhood this week.
