If I had some people close enough to start a face-to-face league, you can bet I would want to see some sort of limitation on at bats and innings pitched. Growing up many, many years ago, we never set limits in our face-to-face leagues, and I used to hate how some players would get overused.
However, when it comes to TSN baseball, my advice is to put that prejudice aside and don't worry about how many ABs or IPs a player has. You will only handicap yourself--both your team and your enjoyment of the game if you are unable to do so.
And yes, you might be able to put together a theme league as mentioned above. But if you're just starting out, I recommend you jump into a few autoleagues first, keeping what I said in mind.
