Can you set Min AB and IP for a draft league??

The current available players that can be drafted are too watered down. Players wth 100 ab Should not be able to be in a league playing every day. Is there any way to put In a minimum ab & Inn requirement in order to be drafted.

If you mean is there anything in the current game engine that allows this, the answer is no. However as suggested above, if you can gather 11 like minded individuals, you can lay that out as a parameter of a theme league, you just have to trust the other 11 guys will follow the rule.

If I had some people close enough to start a face-to-face league, you can bet I would want to see some sort of limitation on at bats and innings pitched. Growing up many, many years ago, we never set limits in our face-to-face leagues, and I used to hate how some players would get overused.

However, when it comes to TSN baseball, my advice is to put that prejudice aside and don't worry about how many ABs or IPs a player has. You will only handicap yourself--both your team and your enjoyment of the game if you are unable to do so.

And yes, you might be able to put together a theme league as mentioned above. But if you're just starting out, I recommend you jump into a few autoleagues first, keeping what I said in mind.

We used to play head to head as kids growing up and always had a cap on ab and ip. It was a much much better game. There are about 6 or seven of us now who found out about this site and would like to play with limit ab and ip rules, just like before. We dont want to have a agreed on limit with other people. There is still room for human error. It would be very easy for SN to write a script for setting league preferences.

This will never happen. I have been in dozens and dozens of theme leagues where each owner had various rules to follow and almost 100% of the time every owner always followed the rules or made a correction as soon as possible. These are good people playing the game on this site. If they sign up for your league they want to follow the agreed upon rules as much as you do.

I wouldn't say never. If they would like to get new customers then they need to make them feel comfortable. Been through too many drafts where there was one but head that ruined it for every one in the league. And by rules nothing could be done.(not here but other fantasy games) Still its not woth the risk. Currently trying to get 12 loacal friends to get in a league. All of us don't want to take a chance on public agreements.
