Tough game for Brandon Phillips and B.J. Upton, who both went 1-for-11 with six Ks.

Wow, a Golden Sombrero for Mather, a Platinum Sombrero for Monroe, and TWO Titanium Sombreros (or "Horns") for Brandon Phillips and BJ Upton.

There have only been eight "Horns" in MLB Baseball history, all in extra inning games, of course. To have two in the same game is incredible.

Man... and to think none of that would have been possible if Billy Wagner had just nailed down the save! That would have been a fun one to watch.

What's really amazing is that NO ONE scored between the 9th and the 23rd. Usually these long extras have at least one inning in which the two teams score the same number of runs in extras.

Fun to check out, thanks for sharing.

hehehe...

When I saw Burnett got the win, I wondered why he was in the game. He pitched the game before.

Then I looked at the 23 innings and I LMAO.
