My home page is showing a message waiting in a league waiting to fill. How can I access this message?

I've never seen that big.

I don't think you can retrieve it if you can't get in the league.

On a side note:
The usual clan that I play with will be experimenting with the 2006 cards.
(Frank, freshmeat, splinter, Tarbell etc...)
We are going to play a normal season when the cards come out, but then have a sort of "King of the Hill" Tournament.

We will play in a homer park, pitching park, righty/lefty hitters parks and then a neutral park. Figure about 5 seasons for bragging rights.

We will probably need 1 or 2 guys, so consider this and open invitation.

As for the league mail, I'm in the league, it's just not full yet. And someone definitely left a message... :?

Big, I had this same thing happen to me in a league recently. It drove me nuts trying to open it. I found out that I couldn't and had to wait till the AD was run. If I remember right it wasn't a message at all just an icon hiccup or something. You can't open mail in a league that is not full and you can't send mail in that league either so I don't know how that icon got there. It dissapeared after I checked the league mail after the AD.

Actually you can send and open mail in an unfilled league. Here's how to do it:

1. Open-up anybody's team that's in a league you're not in. It's easy to find one because someone is always posting their team in this forum that is seeking advice, etc.

2. Click on, "Offer a trade to that team." It doesn't matter that you do not have a roster, simply check a couple of players you are fictitiously wanting to trade for, and then offer the trade.

3. You'll get an error code something like "You tried to offer a trade to a team that is not in your division." At that point click on "standings" above that screen and voila, you're in that league even though it's not filled.
