Favorite Platoons
Posted: Sat Apr 25, 2009 10:01 amI was building a new team and it got me thinking, I try to put at least one platoon on almost all my teams. If done right it gives you the best bang for your buck. I know a lot of you out there in strat-o-land love platoons as well, so I thought I'd offer a fun topic for debate. What is your favorite platoon? I'm sure a lot of you have some great stories and strategies.
As for me, for some reason I fell madly in love with the 2006 (2007 season) set, and every time I make a team I always use Gabe Gross/Jose Cruz in LF or RF. Year I won the championship they got me 62 2B, 26 HR, and 112 BBs.
