So, I have a five man rotation in one of my leagues. Joba Chamberlin just went down for 15 games. I've had a ton of pitcher injuries this year. I don't have any other starters who can fill-in for him. Will HAL pitch another one of my starters in his place or will he plug in a reliever?

If all five guys in your rotation are not able to pitch on three days rest, and you do not pick up another starting pitcher, Hal will start a relief pitcher when it is the injured pitcher's turn. The relief pitcher will obviously only be able to pitch a few innings before being tired. I have gotten away with doing this for a few starts. It sounds like you are having some bad luck with injuries on your pitching staff. Injuries to pitchers in Strat do not occur to often.

I've only had it happen to me once in a blue moon, because I usually take pitchers with 200IP, that being said sometimes you get amazing performances from a reliever who starts.

In the dice game, a pitcher is injured when the DH rolls 6,12.

it will take your highest RP ratings followed by the price basically.
I.e.
R3
R2
R1
each sorted by price. I've always had good luck with my RP's starting, which is why back in the 02 game guys would try to rig it and get them to start all the time.
