Hi All,

Posted some stats for the top 3 1bs this year. I'll take requests to post a couple of other things if you want to make a request.

Interesting to note that Helton looks like a platoon player this year. Pujols is a stud of course, and Lee is great too. Anyway, take a look.

See www.angelfire.com/games5/joethejet

Go to the bottom of the page and follow the example Ratings link.

Hey thanks for your work Joe. I hate how they included lineouts in the ballpark ratings. Do they always do that or is it new? I hope they don't have it in the online game.

thanks joe,

look forward to getting your ratings by ballpark, they are always extremely helpful to me.

crazy...

i think outs on the bp singles side have always been lineouts.

Yeah I know that. I'm just talking about them listing lineouts in the ratings. In the online game when you check out the parks it doesn't say lineouts...just singles and homeruns.

default is lineout even in online game.

Yeah I realize that...what I'm saying is it doesn't LIST them. When you look at the parks it says:

L and R----SINGLES and L and R----HOMERUNS.

canuck,

Listed or not makes no difference. In our format, any > on a player's card defaults to the ballpark effects chart - what is on the player's card is moot. So any "roll" higher than the singles range on the BP chart is automatically a lineout.

[quote:2657bc1b7e]Helton looks like a platoon player this year.[/quote:2657bc1b7e]I wouldn't think so. He does have 39% on-base on the left side. No power at all, true... but still, that's quite good, and then you throw in that 1) he's got a great glove and 2) HAL is not good at getting him into the game when the opponent switches to a righty reliever -- a big reason why I don't like platooning in this format if it can be avoided. So I would start him both ways.
