The team that gets over 90 wins? I hope so. Play in Petco and have three hitters parks in my division. Thome will DH I guess.

Yeah I hope so. My pitching could bust but I didn't have much available...the draft sucked. But for once I want to try to win with offence...I've never had great offence.

Aren't you playing in Petco????
This is a pitchers park if I'm not mistaken. Your pitching will need some work if you are to win. Remember that 1/2 of your games will be determined by pitching. I would have gone stronger pitching and batting for average instead of hitting myself. But I have never played as a home team there either.

Thome in Petco? Look at his card vs RHP (his strong side). Now take away all of the hits that have a # next to them. Take away another hit that he won't get in clutch situations. Nothing left but a couple of HR chances and some walks.
If you have him to take advantage of the homer parks in your division ok but when playing IN PETCO I would rather have the platoon of Merloni/Tracy in your lineup than Thome.

Who's going to get the ball to KRod? I'm not too thrilled with your hitters in Petco either. Noodle arm in CF, a 4 in lf, a 3 at 2nd base? Casey is a good fit. Pierre too, but at DH. Only one man's opinion, but I don't like the construction of this team. Good luck with it though, I've constructed only 1 Petco team so my thoughts can probably be tossed aside.

Hold on a second people. This is like my fourth team in Petco. I have always went for pitching. I have another current team with an OBP of under friggin .300. I was told I need more hitting. I draft a new team with HITTING and it's not good enough. Especially when EVERY other park in my division is a hitters park? I think this is the last time I play this game. And besides...who the heck DOES get overwhelming stats in Petco? BTW...there was no stronger pitching. What I got is about the best that was available. And come on...Thome isn't any good in Petco? A couple of BPHRs...who DOESN'T have them???
And a "noodle" arm is irrelevant on here...even on another thread someone said Pierre is fine in CF...his range and error rating is what is important. I've had Carlos friggin Beltran and Andruw damn Jones in CF and it hasn't done a thing. I don't know...I will respectfully disagree with you guys.

Also...I THOUGHT that in a pitchers park you could have lesser quality pitchers and you had to concentrate more on offence? I wish people would get their friggin stories straight. I've had Ben Sheets, Tom Gordon, Joe Nathan in Petco and NO offence. What the hell do I spend my money on? Offence? Or pitching? And whatever you tell me will it be the same thing next week or will someone come along and say the total opposite for about the oh...95th time?
Also I've read on here that Loretta is ok at 2B because of his offence. Especially in a PITCHER'S park!! Now that changes too??? After many failed teams with all star defence and excellent pitching failing in Petco and some people saying you need offence I decided that this time a team in Petco needs offence and not so much attention to pitching. Is there an emoticon for headbanging against the wall frustration on here????

I think it was 9 out of 12 parks were hitters parks. But hitters on my team won't help me...

Dropped Thome. Picked up Hunter for CF and Burnett to pitch. Best available. I don't want to have to come on here in two weeks asking why I have no offence either.
