Not sure if I'm reading this correct.Seems to me Nick Punto was thrown out stealing 2nd by Cesar Izturis.At the beginning of the inning Izturis was subbed DEFENSIVELY for Prado another guy that doesn't play catcher and Chin Soo Choo was defensive replacement for Montero at 1B when Choo or Montero doesn't play 1B.I'm thinking its just a text error as Montero was at catcher and Prado at 1B.I just don't get how the moves were made when the players were not injured.Plus how the hell does Punto get thrown out by a SS playing catcher?It didn't directly cost me the game but Punto would have scored in a close game that I was shutout.

This is the type of nonsense that makes me want to give this game up.

I don;t know why it happend, but here is what probably happend.

Izturus was brought in to catch. If he substituted for Montero, he would have been the 4th batter due up the next inning. So the computer brought Choo in at the same time so he could be 4th up.

So Izturus came in for Prado. Choo came in for Montero, in the batting order. Then they swapped positions on the filed.

If he does not get the lead and max hold and Arm only goes to +5, he still has a 10% chance of being thrown out. Not off the wall.

The whole issue of subbing for the catcher is troublesome though. Was your other C injured by chance prior to this game? If so, was that injury done within the same 3 night series or from the period before?
