Hi Guys,

Curious if anyone has a good take on why after 48 games Madson has pitched twice an many innings as Johnson. I have no restrictions on any of the RP's, normal relief usage, and regular for my closer, Lidge is the setup man vs righties. KRod closer both ways. Is it HAL's thoughts to get the cheapest relief pitcher as many innings as possible?

Two conjectures: Johnson's ERA is high. He may enter a game and get knocked around causing HAL to put someone else in. Perhaps Madson is picking up the mop up innings. Madson also has a high ERA, and with that many innings mop up would be my best guess.

When you are loosing Madson comes in for the rest of the game. When you are winning Johnson gets lifted in the 9th for Lidge or KRod.
