What a turnaround!

But not the good kind!
Actually, my latest 2008 season team is doing quite well. However, I thought it is interesting the difference in performance for a couple of my key players between the previous season and 1/4 of the way into the new season:
Joe Mauer
Last season (162 games) hit .326 and led the league in average.
This season (39 games) he's hitting .181.
Bobby Jenks
Last season his ERA was 1.15.
This season it's 10.14. It's not all bad; somehow he's only blown 1 save in 8 tries!
I'm not complaining, and I'm sure both players will be fine by season's end. If not fine, at least better! And if anyone is wondering, there is no chance at all I will drop either player.
