Our tech director has brought the forums back up for now, though he's not 100% certain that they'll be able to stay up for good. Hopefully they will.

Please see my latest update and apology on the situation, if you haven't already:

From what I read so far is that SN. in order to cut costs, or as I see it, make an even bigger profit, SN decided to take away the middle man and try it alone. Obviously 25 dollars per team (and count how many teams are out there) is not enough. I may as well stand in line and pay my money for my long anticipated swine flu shot (sarcasim). This site should now be really ashamed but I realize now that you do not really care about the paying public only the bigger profit. Thank you so much SN

Funny, that is not how I read it at all. I read it as they saw their profits dropping so were looking for a way to maintain the same profit without INCREASING the price per team to us.

Just throwing this out there...

I'm not happy with the boards as well. That being said, a business MUST turn a profit to survive.

If they can cut corners to turn even more of a profit, so be it.

Business is business. There is no altruism.

Hopefully this gets rectified quickly.

FYI: The forums still do not work with my AOL browser. I have to switch over to IE to use them.

Bernie, I would like to hear an update on the long term expected consistency of the boards. Are they still likely to go up and down, or are they stable now? I know you had talked before about moving thre boards to a different site. Is this still planned, and if so when. If the boards are still not stable, I hope this move becomes job#1.
