A 4 in left?

How much would it hurt to have 4's on the corners with Jones in Center.
Bigby (only a 3) hurt for 11 games, Gerut only OF backup. Was wondering if I could play Huff at LF some. Play in Ameriquest, BOB and Coors during injury. :?

Most people will say a 4 in the corners will not hurt much. Just don't do it up the middle.

For 3 games and in those parks Huff will do fine.

I'm using Carlos Lee as my starting LF right now. A LF-x roll will come up about once every 3 games, so it's not a big deal. And in Lee's case, at least he's an E0. I guess you can't be charged with an error if you can't get to any balls more than 10 feet away from you!!

it depends on two things. one is the guy worth it will he hit enough to make up for his poor d and two what the rest of your d is like. if you are strong elsewhere and he can hit i think you can afford it. i have used manny and bonds in left in the past. and it worked out fine for me.

If you look at the Super Advanced Fielding chart, you might try to get at least a 3 in RF (assuming a 1 like Jones in CF).

It's worth it IMO to pick up at least one .50M defensive replacement. That's obvious though.

my $.02.

Thanks for the input, its always appreciated. I think for now I'll play Gerut in LF, but if he doesn't perform than Huff might be an option in LF. After all its only 11 games. 8)
