Wrigley, Coors and Camden in division. Another Coors and Wrigley outside. 1 Shea 1 Miller. 1 Fenway 1 Skydome. Hitters Parks Galoor.
Is this team too lobsided (O) wise to compete? (D a minus)

I'm no Mr. Wizard, but here's a pretty successful Wrigley team I had earlier in the year. The offense was more distributed, and Bonds was the focal point.

Do what one guy in my league did...drop them both 60 games into the season.

And this one (with Bonds) lost in the finals:

Perhaps you can get some ideas there?

I like the idea. I would streamline your pitching. I don't see the need for Gobble, Lee or Micelli. Not many pitching or lefty parks in your league, so why have the two starters. Micelli becomes redundant in Wrigley with so many RH SP's. A more balanced guy in that range would be better IMO. Gregg is pretty good. A lefty specialist might not be bad. Shouse may earn his salary as the only lefty in your pen, or even a .50 guy like Halsey. I don't like Wells in your hitting scenario either. Offensively, Cabrera and Clark are nice fits. Pierre may work seeing so many RH. I don't like your SS, 3B or catcher. Crosby and Buck is like OBP death valley at the end, not to mention 3B. I would rather have Ensberg than your platoon. Bell is an error machine, but his offensive ability wouldn't hurt. Ensberg is an even cheaper option. Crosby could be OK in a hitting league. I'm not a fan of the A Gonzalez types who hit .210 with 25HR and a .245 OBP. I would rather have Cabrera on the cheap and upgrade C or 3B. Molina may be a good option at catcher, as he is OK vs rhp's with some pop, and can play vs lhp's.
